As a native of Asheville, North Carolina, I draw inspiration from natural colors and fluid forms.  Mountain landscapes form the initial layer on many a canvas as I paint.  Sometimes these landscapes remain for the finished piece and often, paralleling my own life, cities and oceans find their way in.  Especially oceans.  I love the water and spend all the time I possibly can in coastal areas and on islands, particularly North Carolina’s Bald Head Island.  The texture and composition of my work reflect my favorite places on God's great earth and the spirituality I find in them.  You'll also see a lot of Carolina blue, as I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Tar Heel through and through.  I currently (and happily) reside - feeling very blessed - in Atlanta with my husband, two children, and two rescue dogs. I am grateful for all of the creative opportunities Atlanta provides and a wonderfully supportive community of family and friends.

I am honored to be included in events such as Spotlight on Art 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, An Affair of the Art 2016 and 2017,  the Atlanta Speech School Gala 2016, A Heart for the Arts 2018 and 2019, Celebrating Art Macon 2018 and 2019, the 2016 and 2017 Spotlight on Art Preview Gallery at Neiman Marcus, and the 2017 Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Home for the Holidays show house.
